In Flawless, you can track serialized inventory across every part of your sales process—ensuring traceability, protection, and professionalism. Why Serial Numbers Are Essential in Retail

Serial numbers aren’t just extra details—they're the backbone of inventory tracking when it comes to serialized products.

They help you:

  • Validate warranty and service claims
  • Prevent fraud or mistaken identity of items
  • Track every sale with precision

Especially for jewelers, electronics retailers, and luxury product sellers, serial tracking builds trust and accountability in every transaction. And in Flawless, it’s integrated directly into your sales flow—no spreadsheets, no mess.

How to Add Serial Numbers in Flawless
  1. Start a New Sale or Service Job
Add the serialized product to the cart as usual.
  2. Click on the Serial Icon
Once the product is added, click the “#” (Serial) icon next to the item name.
  3. Enter or Scan the Serial Number
You can manually enter or use a barcode scanner to input the number. Multiple serials can be added if selling more than one item.
  4. Review Before Finalizing
Flawless will validate the number(s) and save them with the transaction history—visible anytime under the sale or inventory report.

This means every sale is now uniquely traceable, with minimal effort from your staff.

“The moment you start tracking serials, you stop second-guessing and start leading with confidence.”
