Why Transparency Matters in Service Jobs
Pending Review benefits both sides: your customers gain insights and control over their service jobs.
It adds clarity to repair timelines, scope, and expectations—especially when service work isn’t always straightforward. Inside Flawless POS, Pending Review makes it easy for your team to submit job updates with photos, and for customers to give feedback on what they see.
It’s built for transparency... and that makes everyone’s job easier.
How Pending Review Works Step-by-Step
Let’s say a customer sends in an item for repair. Your team performs an inspection and adds notes about what needs to be fixed. Instead of moving forward blindly, you switch the review status to “Pending Review” and send the customer a link.
In this view, customers can now:
- See all images you’ve included from the job file
- Upload new images if needed
- Add their comments directly to individual photos
- Leave overall reviewer notes and feedback
This means no more confusing email threads or phone tag just to get approval or answer questions. Every comment and file is saved to the job record—and instantly visible to your team.
Key Benefits of Using Pending Review in Flawless
Pending Review isn’t just a feature—it’s a complete communication bridge between your store and your customer. These three benefits highlight how it improves workflow clarity and speeds up approvals.
Whether you're handling complex repair jobs or simple fixes, Pending Review ensures both sides stay aligned—saving time, reducing errors, and keeping everything trackable inside Flawless POS.
From Feedback to Approval: What Customers Can Do
What happens if the customer requests a change? They can click Send for Rework, and the job status updates to “Review Rejected – Rework Required.” The customer review column reflects “Rejected,” including the exact date.
Once you’ve reviewed their feedback and made the adjustments, you can reinitiate the review process with updated images or new comments. On the other hand, if everything looks good, they’ll simply click Approve. This updates the job status to “Review Approved,” and the Customer Review column now shows “Approved” with a timestamp.
It’s a seamless loop between your store and your customer—with everything fully documented and centralized in one view.
